Senior Relay Winners - Central Zone Athletics
St John's College was well represented at the annual Central Zones Athletics Meeting on 10 March at Porritt Stadium in Hamilton. A cool, overcast day made for some spectacular performances from athletes all over the Waikato.
The highlight of the day was definitely the last item on the program, the senior boys 4 x 100m relay. Team manager, Mr Joe Smal described it as a "goosebumps performance" with the St John's team runaway victors in just over 44 seconds. Overall St John's College had 9 x 1st placings, 10 x 2nd placings, 4 x 3rd placings! Results below:
