St John’s College has a proud rugby history.The school consistently enters 10 teams in both age and weight grades in the Waikato Secondary School’s Competition. The 1st XV plays in the Central North Island competition and continues to develop and grow against several very strong and talented schools.St John’s College has seen success over the years on the rugby field and our programme is designed for this to continue to happen. The U14 and U15 programmes offer a clear pathway for ambitious rugby players and our U55kg programmes caters for all students who love rugby and want the opportunity to play.
