Maori Language Week - News - St John's College
This is the official week for Māori Language week but at our school, Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori will be celebrated next week, in tandem with our Māori and Pasifika awards evening.
Māori Language Week has been celebrated since 1975, its start marking the day the Māori Language Petition was presented to Parliament in 1972.
